Headwaters Women’s Ministry seeks to bring women of all ages together to stand firm in one spirit, with one mind, striving side by side for the faith of the gospel. (Philippians 1:27)
What We Do
Headwaters Women’s Ministry seeks to equip women through sound biblical teaching, encourage the pursuit of intentional and authentic relationships, and engage women in active service within the church and community. These objectives are addressed within four ministry areas: Welcome, Word, Worship, and Witness.
Welcome: Bringing women together through activities and events (Track & Pack, Cookies & Canvas, Game Nights, Laser Tag).
Word: Opportunities to grow in knowledge and accountability accomplished through Bible studies, conferences & discipleship groups. Tuesday morning studies, STEPS class for women, Growth Groups, etc.
Worship: Loving and serving those within the church (Meal Ministry, Hospital Visitation, Baby Blanket Ministry, Notes of Encouragement).
Witness: Loving our community and sharing hope through service and support (Noah’s Hope, Sewing Sisters, Safe Families projects, local school connections).
When & Where
Headwaters Church currently has two sites: 2000 N. Wells and 1001 W. Wallen Rd. Our women’s ministry seeks to bring together women from both of these sites as we engage in study, connecting and outreach. Each facility may be used for a study or event – watch the Headwaters Newsletter and get on the women’s email newsletter list for details on specific event locations.
