What is STEPS?
More than anything, STEPS is an opportunity for you to grow in your spiritual life and be discipled in the faith. If you have ever wanted to get serious about your relationship with God, but didn't know where to start, STEPS is for you!
STEPS is a discipleship ministry that offers a variety of Bible classes each semester on everything from basic discipleship to New Testament Greek; from Financial Peace University to parenting. These encouraging and uplifting Bible studies are a great way to move forward in your spritual life and to connect with your church family.
It's been said that the most rewarding journey in our life is our walk with God. STEPS will equip you to be successful on that journey.
Since STEPS began in the spring of 2003, hundreds of people have been impacted by this life-changing ministry. STEPS stands for S-saved, T-totally committed, E-exalting God, P-pursuing excellence, S-serving others.

When Does STEPS Meet?
STEPS meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. (with some classes finishing at 8:30 p.m.)

*STEPS classes very in length, from four to twelve weeks. You do not need to wait until the beginning of a semester or module to be a part of STEPS. You are welcome to begin at any time.

There is something for everyone on Wednesdays at Wallen!
For Children: Nursury and AWANA Children's Ministry
For Teens: Junior and Senior High Youth Ministry.
What Is STEPS Like?
- When you arrive, you will be warmly greeted at the door. There will be people to help you and your family get to where you need to be.
- You will be invited to put on a name tag, and to enjoy a cup of coffee from our coffee shop.
- Each semester a number of classes are offered. Some classes have a registration fee that covers the cost of the materials used in the class. Please know that while you are welcome to be a part of any of our STEPS classes, it is important that you register for your class ahead of time whenever possible.
- Each STEPS class is warm and inviting. You will know that you are among friends.
- Each STEPS teacher is committed to faithfully teaching the truths of God's Word in an encouraging manner. You will have the opportunity to dialog, ask questions, and forge friendships with others.
