Women strengthening one another in our efforts to be strengthened in the Lord
The Women’s Ministry strives to offer opportunities for women to connect with each other and grow spiritually through Bible study, service, fellowship, and prayer.
Women may participate in Bible studies, prayer gatherings, the “Sister to Sister” mentoring ministry, women’s conferences, softball, Craft Night, and an annual ladies’ tea.

Women's Bible Study The Women’s Bible Study is the foundation of our women’s ministry. It consists of two semesters with weekly meetings on Tuesday mornings from 9:00-11:00 a.m., September through May. Thegoal of the Bible Study is to strengthen one another by our efforts to be strengthened by the Lord through His Word. Each week the study consists of an opening of warm fellowship, food and coffee followed by announcements, music, and prayer. We then have our large group teaching time before dismissing into assigned small groups for discussion, prayer, and a time to encourage one another as we seek to apply the truths of the lesson to our every day lives. Nursery and T.O.T.S. classes are available for preschool children (space is limited). Bible Study is an excellent way to connect with the women of the church. We begin new studies each semester, but you are encouraged to join at anytime. If you have any questions, please call Amy Suciu at 627-7160.
Women's Prayer Ministry The Women’s Prayer Ministry provides an opportunity for women to come together to praise God, draw closer to Him, and bring their concerns and requests. This group is committed to praying for our church, community, and country. This ministry meets every Wednesday morning in the church conference room. The group is open to all women who would like to unite in prayer (childcare is not provided.) For more information, please contact the church office at 489-4942.
Sister to Sister Sister to Sister is a ministry that connects women through discipleship. Using Titus 2:3-5 as a model, join us either as a discipler or disciple. Each pair of women decides the time and place to meet weekly as you study, learn, and apply God’s word. Sister to Sister groups typically start in the fall and continue through the spring. Women's Softball Women’s Softball provides an excellent opportunity for women of the church to have fun and fellowship. Games are played each Monday at Kreager Park against other church teams, May through August. Registration information, practice and game information are posted in the weekly bulletin during the softball season. For more information call the church office at 489-4942.
Covered with Care Covered with Care is a ministry to moms and the newest additions to our church family—their infants. Women in the church who are talented in this area and willing to give of their time, knit or crochet baby blankets. These hand-made blankets are delivered to the moms during their hospital stay in an effort to communicate compassion, kindness, and love to both mom and little one. If you are interested in getting involved in this ministry, please contact the church office at 489-4942.
Meal Ministry This ministry provides temporary meals for women and their families who are in immediate need. New moms often enjoy a week of meals while they focus on their newborns. Others have benefited as they recover from surgery or illness. This ministry provides an excellent opportunity for anyone to get involved in service! If you would be available to provide an occasional meal, please contact the church at 489-4942.
